Nedanstående text fanns i en info-ruta i en artikel om övervakning som jag (Ksv) läste en gång. Det var i ett flygplan på väg till Finland och jag fann texten ganska lustig, främst punkten om open source men även helheten.
Vem är personen som skrivit den och vad vill han/hon få fram? Jag kunde nog komma på några till punkter, t.ex bibliotekens register över dina lånade böcker som har använts för att spåra vissa personer.

- Software that allows you to see the source code makes it possible to spot spyware

- Everything wireless is susceptible to intrusion

- As soon as you swipe, information is stored about where you were at a certain location at a certain time
- Change your name
- »John Smith« is harder to keep tabs on than »Agamemnon Pointdexter III«
- Keep your fridge offline
- Any interactive device that feeds back to its maker is bound to keep a profile of your habits
- Stick to maps
- A GPS in your car might help you find your way, but it also enables operators to keep track of you
